EtonHouse is a very well respected education provider whose head office
is located in Singapore. In Singapore there are eight early childhood
centres and one large (450 students) international school that is an
authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP)
school. The EtonHouse group also operates schools in Indonesia and other
parts of China (Dongguan, Xian and Chengdu), with more schools opening
in the near future.
The Suzhou school is relatively new and opened in 2003 with a small
number of students. Our growing reputation has seen student numbers
climb from 35 in July 2004 to the present student population of over 200
(July 2007).
With excellent staff to student ratios you can be sure that your child
will benefit from the close attention, care and guidance given by our
team of dedicated, family-orientated and professional teachers.
In addition, our school offers a curriculum that will help your child
not only to succeed academically, but also to grow and develop into a
unique individual with good values and excellent life skills. We have a
small lower Middle School and our numbers are increasing in that age
group. We are an International Baccalaureate “candidate” school and our
curriculum is delivered using the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The
PYP is not a curriculum in itself, but a way of teaching the curriculum.
The children are encouraged to engage in inquiry-based learning in a
supportive and stimulating environment.
In August 2008 we expect to be in our new exceptionally well equipped
campus that will feature the most modern of facilities.
